"Exploring the 5 Top Frosé Spots in Nashville: A Refreshing Mid-Day Wine Experience"

Frosé at Co-op

Do we often have wine in the middle of the day? Well, yes - if you count mimosas. But do we often have a non-bubbly glass of wine during the day? Well, yes, if you count Sangria. I don't know what kind of point I am trying to make, but it can't be denied that wine comes in various spectacular mid-day formats, not the least of which is the quintessential summer refresher, the Frosé. Frosé is as cool and refreshing as it is fun to order. The problem is, it's not always a permanent resident on a cocktail menu, and therefore usually a pleasant surprise when you see it!

For those of you that know me well, you know leaving these sorts of game-changing brunch decisions up to chance is not something I can handle. Therefore, we set out to document the best frose spots across Nashville and, even more importantly, rate/ describe our top pics. The journey to find the perfect frosé in Nashville quickly became complex in the sheer broad varieties that fall under the frosé umbrella.

So we decided to rate our frosé choices by flavor profile, consistency, and of course, atmosphere. The flavor profile, ranked from light to tart, consistency from smooth to slushy, and general atmosphere, as it's always essential to have the location match your mood. Ultimately, you cannot go wrong with any of these places on the list (many places did not make the cut). We highly recommend them for a great refreshing escape from the Nash heat.

Frosé at Sixty Vines

Frosé at Acme on lower Broadway

#1 Sixty Vines (5th & Broadway)

  • Flavor: Light & Sweet

  • Consistency: Perfectly Smooth

  • Atmosphere: Light & Airy with amazing views of the Ryman and Nash skyline

Hands down my favorite. Also, I'll be honest, my favorite spot on Broadway. Solid food every time, consistently excellent service, and phenom drink options. All around, you can't go wrong here. We suggest the burrata and brussels as table stakes to complete the visit.

#2
LA Jackson (Gulch)

  • Flavor: Light with a limey undertone, not overly sweet

  • Consistency: Perfectly Smooth

  • Atmosphere: Insta-posters dream, great views, equally great people watching.

Listen, I know, this is basic Nashville and usually stocked full of tourists enjoying the views and champagne bongs. It's a vibe.

#3 Acme (Lower Broadway)

  • Flavor: Sweet & Lemonade Tart (not too overpowering)

  • Consistency: Smooth

  • Atmosphere: The most underrated rooftop on Broadway, great views of the river

A couple of notes on Acme, this is a Broadway multi-story bar and therefore comes with an air of apprehension. However, it honestly didn't disappoint, especially with the $5 special.

#4 Sadie's (Edgehill)

  • Flavor: Lemonade-esque

  • Consistency: Decent, little slushy

  • Atmosphere: Super cute inside with outdoor patio area, light and bright

We have been going to Barcelona regularly (for the Sangria, of course) and always wondered what was going on with the place next door, so we Brunched. The food was amazing! I'm a whipped feta connoisseur, and this raw honey passionfruit take ranked it right up there with Butcher & Bee. It's a must try.

#5 Co-op (Hillsboro Village)

  • Flavor: Multiple Choice

  • Consistency: Smooth slushy

  • Atmosphere: Casual w/ fun murals and close to Hillsboro shopping

If you are to google frose in Nashville, this is the first to come up, and it is a super fun spin on the experience. They have multiple flavors to choose from and even offer the option to do a Frose tasting! So fun.

As you can see, the Nashville's frosé scene offers a spectrum of flavors, textures, and settings that cater to all preferences. From Sixty Vines' smooth indulgence to Co-op's playful variety, these spots provide refreshing mid-day retreats, making each sip a journey through the city's vibrant spirit. So, whether you're a local seeking respite or a visitor exploring, these frose destinations promise memorable moments under the Nashville sun.

Happy final days of Summer23!
